Cindy Gittens, LCSW
As a school social worker with Loudoun County since 2007, Cindy has counseled innumerable children and families. Over the years, Cindy has developed a particular expertise in helping her families understand and navigate through the complex special education process. At In Step, Cindy supports children, adolescents, and adults through individual and group therapy. She received her MSW from Radford University. Cindy has a passion for working with children of all ages with challenges such as low self-esteem, school problems, social difficulties, ADHD, relationship struggles, and poor body image. Cindy is currently working towards her LCSW under the supervision of a licensed In Step clinician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her Chihuahua, Jerry.
