Diane Ramia, MA, Resident in Counseling

As a school counselor with Fairfax County Public Schools since 2008, Diane has counseled children and their families on a variety of topics including anxiety, coping skills, social skills and conflict resolution. Within the diverse community of the school system, she has developed the skills to work with families of different ethnicities to help them maintain their cultural differences while giving them the tools to adapt and thrive within their new social environment. Diane is currently working at In Step as a co-leader of a Stepping Stones group and towards her LPC under the supervision of licensed In Step clinicians. Diane received her Bachelors in Business Administration and Masters in School Counseling from Marymount University in Arlington, VA and is fluent in Arabic. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family in the kitchen and reading.
