Many of you have children who will attend camp this year for the very first time. You’ll want to get your child started off right so that they will have the best experience possible.
When you choose the camp together, your child will have more buy-in from the get go. You can involve your child in the decision making process by browsing brochures, searching the Internet, and looking at the pros and cons of different camps together before deciding which camp is the best fit.
Remember, this is your child’s experience not yours so let your kids tell you what they love, not the other way around.
Here is a great article from The Washington Post on getting ready for summer camp.
